Wylet Privacy Policy

Effective March 23, 2026

This policy is written for Wylet as an account-based personal finance app and website operated from Israel and offered worldwide. It covers the information users enter into the product, the limited technical data needed to run secure sign-in and site functionality, and the choices users have over their data, including in-app deletion.

1. Who we are

Wylet ("Wylet," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Avia Makovsky in Israel. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Wylet mobile application and the Wylet website (together, the "Service").

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including account details such as your name, email address, username, password or other sign-in credentials.

We collect content you choose to create, upload, import, or store in Wylet, such as transactions, income and expense records, categories, plans, budgets, goals, notes, tags, receipts, images, PDFs, CSV files, and other documents or attachments you add to your account.

If you contact us, we may collect the information you include in your message and any related correspondence.

To operate accounts securely and keep the Service working, we may also process limited technical information such as IP address, device or browser information, app version, session identifiers, login or security events, and essential cookies or similar storage used by the website.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to create and manage your account, authenticate sign-in, provide Wylet features, display and organize your records, and make your information available to you across the Service.

We use information to support features such as receipts, imports, exports, planning tools, reminders, duplicate warnings, categorizations, settings, and similar product functionality.

We use information to maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

We may send service-related notices, security alerts, and legal or operational updates. We do not send marketing messages unless you separately ask to receive them.

4. Legal bases for users in certain regions

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we generally rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Wylet, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.

We may disclose information if you direct us to do so, if disclosure is required by law or legal process, to protect rights, safety, or security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, sale, or reorganization of the Service or business.

6. International use and transfers

Wylet is operated from Israel and made available worldwide. If you use the Service from outside Israel, your information may be processed in Israel and in other places involved in operating the Service.

Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for cross-border transfers, we will use appropriate measures required by that law.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

If you delete content or delete your account through the app or website, we will remove or anonymize the relevant information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep limited records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review, update, or delete certain information directly inside Wylet.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to certain processing, request restriction of processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or complain to your local data protection regulator.

9. Children

Wylet is a general-audience service and is not specifically directed to children under 13.

If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your location, you may use Wylet only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in a way that violates applicable law, we will take steps to delete that information.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

The Wylet website may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for sign-in, session management, security, and basic site functionality.

Wylet does not use advertising cookies, and based on the current setup described for the Service, it does not use third-party analytics cookies.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on the website or in the app and update the effective date above. Your continued use of Wylet after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

13. Contact

If you have questions, requests, or privacy concerns, contact: Avia Makovsky, email: [email protected].
